Anthony Katz, FCAS, FSA, MAAA
Anthony is an actuary with over 30 years of combined experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, as well as consulting.
As a former Chief Reserving Actuary, he was responsible for analysis and adequacy of loss reserves across a global multi-product P&C book of business, facilitating year-end financial reporting and annual statement processes, and leading discussions with auditors, regulators, and senior management.
In front-line roles, Anthony has been responsible for pricing large national account business and rate monitoring of specialty lines products, where he worked alongside profit center leaders.
Anthony has led Actuarial Transformation for large insurers in the industry, focusing on gap analysis, centralized pricing systems, reserving software, interdepartmental communication, actuarial database design, self-service BI, process automation, data extraction, and data quality cleansing, automation, and visualization tools.
Anthony is an active volunteer for the Casualty Actuarial Society, including serving as a facilitator for their course on Professionalism and Ethics. Anthony holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from New York University. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Society of Actuaries.
