Sharanna Ali holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Actuarial Science, Statistics and Economics from the University of Waterloo.

Sharanna currently works as a P&C Actuarial Analyst at JSCP / Valani Global, supporting the implementation of IFRS 17, actuarial valuations, reserve calculations, funding studies, and financial reporting. Previously, she worked with financial reporting teams for life and health insurance products that supported business across Trinidad and the Caribbean. She is actively pursuing her Actuarial Fellowship, further strengthening her professional expertise.

Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys expressing her creativity through acrylic painting and a deep love of Indian classical dance, reflecting her appreciation for culture, rhythm, and self-expression.
