Srushti Patel holds a Bachelor of Mathematics majoring in Business Administration from the University of Waterloo. Her academic foundation, paired with a curiosity for financial systems, led her to explore the capital markets industry through internships at RBC and Barrick Mining Corporation. She then spent a year at SCOR Reinsurance in Strategy and Business Development, where she discovered her passion for the insurance industry.

That passion ultimately kick-started her career post-graduation at JSCP / Valani Global, where she works as a P&C Actuarial Analyst. In her role, she supports a range of actuarial functions including reserve analysis, financial performance reviews, and regulatory reporting. She is currently pursuing her actuarial fellowship to further deepen her industry knowledge and technical expertise.

Outside of work, Srushti enjoys travelling to new places, hiking scenic trails, and experiments in the kitchen – whether baking sweet treats or trying her hand at different cuisines.
